Accommodations:

All of our rooms have private entrances and bathrooms, television sets, refrigerators, microwaves, telephones, and heating/air conditioning.  Each room is uniquely decorated seasonally and each one provides its own view of the gardens. Carriage House Suite 3  and room 2 have adjoining door(s) that when rented together can make a two bedroom suite and two bathrooms suite, which families and  large groups may enjoy.

Each of our motor lodge rooms features two queen beds, a private entrance, a garden-facing window, and personalized décor inspired by the culture, nature, and stories of Western Wisconsin. All rooms include:

	Carriage House Suite 1: This 2-room suite is located adjacent to the main house in the historic Carriage House. The queen size white pine bed sets the tone for this peaceful respite. Falling Aspen leaves surround the large windows overlooking the back gardens of the inn. A double-size futon in the parlor provides accommodations for one adult or two small children, or a quiet place to read or watch television

	Carriage House Suite 2: We honor a culture that time has forgotten in this 1-room Carriage House Suite. A log pattern quilt on the double size bed and prints of Amish children are just a sampling of their heritage. An Amish-made doll sits waiting on the shelf for that special little girl. Hang your hat on the Amish made coat rack and enjoy the beauty of our grounds.

	Carriage House Suite 3: A private seating area off the bedroom is an ideal spot to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine by the light of the garden torches. A queen sized 4 poster bed, cherry wood bed stand and vignette of roses accompany the bed linens and room decor. The double-size sofa sleeper in the parlor allows for this suite to accommodate threes adult(s) or two adults and two small children. The desk provides a work space for business travel or a place to write postcards to family and friends.

	Motor Lodge Room 4 – Rose Hips: Two-queen size beds covered with rust colored quilts compliment the Campanelli prints and rose hips wall covering. Many of the country style accessories in this room were purchased from local artisans.

	Motor Lodge Room 5 – Bird Houses: Captured from the Warren Kimble’s folk art painting of birdhouses, a double wall mural and picket fence give the illusion of a summer garden. Two-queen size beds with crazy daisy quilts can brighten any Western Wisconsin day. This non-smoking room can accommodate 4 adults. Just a few steps away, in the rear gardens you can sit and watch the birds and squirrels feeding in the early morning and late afternoon.

	Motor Lodge Room 6 – Flag Room: Folk Art prints of our nation’s Stars and Stripes, and early Americana make this our all time favorite room. Two-queen size beds in this non-smoking room can accommodate 4 adults. Celebrate the 4th of July year round and step outside the door to a short walk to Ida Mae’s grave.

	Motor Lodge Room 7 – Roses and Cupids: This two-queen bedroom reminds us of Great-Grandma’s farmhouse. Sage green quilts and antique roses decorate the walls and bath area. Cupid Awake and Cupid Asleep, two prints in a series of seven, assure a peaceful night’s rest. This non-smoking room is a favorite of our female travelers. If you listen carefully you can hear the wind chimes suspended in the hickory tree nearby.

	Motor Lodge Room 8 – Nautical Room: A crusty ole’ sea captain keeps watch over the stormy skies of Oak Park Inn. Prints of famous lighthouses make this room with two-queen size beds a safe haven for travelers. A short distance to the upper yard provides a quiet place to nap in the late afternoon in the double person hammock.

	Motor Lodge Room 9 – Barn Room: Ray Mertz of Trempealeau, WI is known for his wildlife paintings of Western Wisconsin. Ray also painted landscapes of the Texaco Station in Independence and a barn outside of West Salem. These two particular prints provide the theme of gas station advertising and old trucks from the 40’s. No shed is completed without the weathered red painted boards of Linda’s childhood. Two walls are adorned with boards from the Nelson farm outside of Blair. Two-queen size beds.
